Old Town Square

Old Town Square is situated between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge in Prague and is one of the most attractive squares in Europe. The most important Prague square is a huge tourist attraction. Surrounded by several historical houses, the Old Town Square stands right in the middle of the historical centre and is its oldest square, its history dates back to the 10th century. The biggest attraction for tourists is undoubtedly the Old Town Hall with its almost 70-metres high tower and especially the Old Town Horologe, the astronomical clock that attracts loads of tourists to watch movements of apostles every hour.

Besides the Old Town Hall, there are also several other splendid sights that dominate the square – twin towers of Gothic Týn Cathedral, Baroque Church of Saint Nicholas, Rococo Kinský Palace with the National Gallery and much more. Situated in the middle of the square, there is the monument of the Protestant reformer Jan Hus. The Old Town Square can offer unforgettable experiences, beautiful views and irreplaceable atmosphere.
